Whangārei’s First-Ever Duck Race to Make a Splash at Maritime Festival!

Festival-goers can adopt a duck for just $5, with all proceeds supporting Life Education Trust Whangārei’s work delivering health and wellbeing education to tamariki across Northland.

For local businesses, there’s also the chance to compete in the Corporate Duck Race, where oversized ducks can be purchased for $200 – giving businesses both bragging rights and the opportunity to support a great cause.

To keep our Duck Race fun and sustainable, all the ducks are hired for the event. This means we can reuse them year after year instead of buying new ones.
